New in the Peak Ice App: Skater Profile Photos

We're excited to roll out a small but meaningful addition to the Peak Ice Schedule app: skater profile photos.

Why We Built This

Every season, coaches and staff face the same challenge at check-in — matching names on a list to faces at the rink. With multiple camps running simultaneously and new skaters joining each week, it takes

time to connect the dots. Profile photos solve this directly. A quick glance at the skater list now tells you everything you need.

And for families, it's a chance to put a face to the profile — a small personalisation that makes the app feel a little more like your skater's space.

  How It Works

Head to your Profile page. You'll notice each skater in your My Skaters list now shows a circular avatar. If you haven't uploaded a photo yet, you'll see a placeholder — that's your cue.

Click the camera icon next to any skater you own. Select a photo from your device, and that's it. The app automatically crops it to a centered square, so there's no fiddling with editors or aspect ratios.

  The photo appears instantly.

  A few things worth knowing:

  - Only the account owner can upload. If a skater is shared with you, you'll see their photo but won't be able to change it.

  - Replacing a photo is just as easy — click the camera button again and pick a new image.

  - Photos are visible only to yourself, the accounts you share the skater with, the coaches and our staff.

  Built for Privacy

Photos are stored privately — they're never publicly accessible.

  Try It Now

Log in, go to your Profile, and upload a photo for your skater. Camp check-in just got a little smoother for everyone.
