During the first technique session, our team of coaches will proceed to the triage and check the levels of all skaters. Once the triage will be over, we will let the skaters know in which group they have been moved to. An updated document with the groups will also be sent by email.
W E L C O M E G I F T
Peak Ice offers a resistance band to all participants as a welcome gift. Please come find me in my office located on the 1st floor. Gifts are offered per camp, so if you already have received your welcome gift during the [ week 1 ], [ week 2 ], [ week 3 ] or [ Week 4 ] of the camp, you will not receive an additional gift for the other week(s) of camp.

The dance studio is located on the second floor right under the audience seats.

You can find the free WiFi password on the audience area door located on the second floor.
T R A I N I N G
The following items are required/recommended for every skater to bring for training:
1 off-ice spinner - Edea spinners will be available to purchase on site. To bring with you to every off-ice session.
1 skipping rope - to bring with you to the off-ice session.
1 bottle of water - all training sessions.
1 resistance band - Peak Ice resistance band will be available to purchase on site. Please bring your resistance to every skating skills session.
Training clothes - black color is preferred.
1 pair of gloves
1 extra pair of laces
Skate guards and skates...
All long hair needs to be tied prior to every session. Buns for the girls are highly recommended by the team.
D R E S S I N G R O O M S
3 dressing rooms will be available for boys and girls. Signs with the group names will be on the doors of the allocated dressing rooms.
You can find below the dedicated dressing room for each group (available from Monday 8/05, next week):
- Dressing room number 3: LADIES - Chopin / Bach (opposite side of the rink)
- Dressing room number 5: LADIES - Verdi / Vivaldi / Wagner (opposite side of the rink)
- Dressing room number 2: BOYS - Chopin / Bach / Verdi / Vivaldi / Wagner
Because the dressing rooms will be crowded, all skaters: please pick up your skate bags after each on-ice session and leave it on the floor against the wall (to the left or to the right when entering the dressing room) to clear the space and allow the next group to get ready for their sessions. You can pick up your bag and get ready for your session when coming back to the dressing room. Once again, we highly suggest writing the name on every garments as a lot of skaters are mixing up their clothes with others Lost and found items will be in my office on the first floor.
Parents are strictly not permitted in the dressing rooms. The dressing rooms are for skaters to use ONLY. If you wish to help your kid(s) with their skates you can use the benches by the board or outside the dressing rooms then go find your seat in the audience area located on the 2nd floor. No parents are permitted by the board or in the staircase behind the glass window during on-ice sessions. Parents can stay in the audience area or in the vending machine room located on the ground floor. Video recording during training sessions is strictly forbidden.
O P E N I C E
Open ice sessions have been added to your schedule. Please sign in on the paper sheets located on the table next to the board. All skaters can attend the open ice sessions in the morning. The ice fee is 20 euros per skater and per 50-minute session. Payment by cash will be on Friday in my office located at the top of the stairs when you enter the ice rink (staircase is on your right when you access the facility).
G R O U P P H O T O
On Wednesday, all skaters and guest coaches (registered to the coach observation camp) are invited on the ice to take the traditional Peak Ice group photo. Please make sure to wear full black clothes, and have your skates on. We only have a very limited time for the photoshoot. The group photo will be shared with you through a Google drive link. The link will be active for 7 days only so make sure to download your photos as soon as possible. No other link will be sent!
L A S T S E S S I O N - S A T U R D A Y
All skaters are allowed to take a picture with the coaches at the end of their technique session. Parents please prepare your camera in advance.
P H Y S I O
During the week, physiotherapist Manon Van Engelant will be available upon request at the rink.
Parents and skaters can make an appointment directly with the physiotherapist with the phone number (+32 498 26 12 94).
I M P O R T A N T
Kind reminder:
Please note that no video recording will be permitted during the training sessions and parents are not allowed by the board of the rink, by the stairs behind the glassed window and during the off-ice/dance sessions.
To ensure an efficient and productive training time, we kindly ask the parents to watch the training sessions from the higher row of the audience seats located on the 2nd floor. You will also find on the door of the audience seats area the free WiFi code.
